The Arizona American Indian Tourism Association (AAITA) is a statewide, nonprofit 501(c) 3 membership organization established in 1994. Overseen by a nine-member board, AAITA involves businesses and professionals as members, who voluntarily work together to increase tourism on Arizona Indian communities. AAITA produces annually the national award-winning Arizona Indian Festival. In the year 2020, AAINTA (American Indian Alaska Native Tourism Association) awarded AAITA the “Best Cultural Heritage Experience” award.
